Construction and material handling equipment maker Develon, formerly known as Doosan Construction Equipment, has announced that Logex System GmbH will support the sale, rental and servicing of Develon equipment to medium-sized recycling and waste handling companies in Germany and Austria.
Logex will work with Develon's existing dealer network and its rental and service locations in Germany, Switzerland and Austria to provide an ideal fit to serve the waste and recycling sectors.
Logex, which is based in Ingolstadt in Germany’s Bavaria region, offers services and advice in all areas of the waste management industry for branches and subsidiaries of centrally organized companies.
“The waste management and recycling specialist offers its partners attractive and individual disposal concepts that enable inexpensive services and still ensure professional support for customers and disposal partners," says Develon, which is a brand owned by HD Hyundai.
Logex says its business goal is to increase the competitiveness of medium-sized companies and to open up new markets, describing itself as “networked with waste management companies across the board: regionally, nationally and internationally.”
Develon's machinery range for the recycling and waste disposal sector includes tracked and wheeled excavators, wheel loaders and hydraulic material handling machines.
Also offered will be the Develon Transparent Bucket, with which the equipment maker says a driver can “easily check the blind spots in front of the bucket via [a] cab monitor.” To increase safety and prevent accidents, the monitor system uses top and bottom cameras at the front of a wheel loader to display the part of the area blocked by the bucket when the boom is raised.
Logex also will help support the Develon Fleet Management wireless telematics system, designed to ensure operational reliability in handling.
