Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark was introduced to the global recycling industry during a visit to the Eldan Recycling production facility in Faaborg, Denmark, June 6, 2012.
Eldan Managing Director Toni Reftman told Her Majesty the Queen about the various materials which Eldan offers a recycling solution to, the global spread of the equipment and the benefits from it all originating from Denmark. Her Majesty the Queen also had the opportunity to recycle copper cables in the small capacity Micro Module system into copper and plastic.
“It was a great honor for Eldan Recycling to receive such a distinguished visit from Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II,” Reftman says. “Her Majesty was very interested in the company presence in Denmark as well as globally, and what has been accomplished during the past almost 60 years. This is a strong sign of the importance of environmental thinking in Denmark, and the impact we can make globally.”
