Demolition Association Anticipates Bustling Event

Exhibit Hall sells out for early April national convention.

With just a few weeks to go, the National Demolition Association is expecting a near record turnout at its Annual Convention, taking place April 1-4 at The Mirage in Las Vegas.

According to the Doylestown, Pa.-based association, with exhibitor space sold out in the main exhibit hall, the association has expanded the convention into a nearby ballroom.

“We’ve quickly sold out our main exhibit hall, but we always can find space for more exhibitors,” says Michael R. Taylor, executive director of the National Demolition Association.

Taylor says new or current member companies that have never attended a demolition convention before will be offered a free registration for one representative and a spouse to attend. Basic registration for exhibitors and attendees includes admittance of the registrant and spouse to all convention events.

These events include presentations by two keynote speakers and four educational, business-building sessions by experts in areas such as marketing, OSHA compliance, worker’s compensation, and skilled support services for first response teams.

The cost of registration also includes an invitation to the Opening Night Cocktail Reception and the Annual Banquet, as well as the National Demolition Association’s Monday Night Polynesian Luau. “Our Monday night theme parties have become legendary,” Taylor comments.

The National Demolition Association is a non-profit trade organization representing nearly 1,000 North American companies and international firms involved in the demolition process.
