DSM Research BV and Siemens NV signed an agreement for the sale and construction of Rofire plants.
The Rofire is a secondary fuel processed from paper recycling waste. It can replace fossil fuels in cement kilns, coal-fired power plants and blast furnaces.
Under the signed agreement, the two companies will collaborate on process technology, analysis and assessment of raw material properties, documentation of environmental benefits; application for permits and subsidies; and further modeling of Rofire plants.
