U.S.-based Davis-Standard, a designer and distributor of extrusion technology, has opened a spare parts and service center at the company’s manufacturing plant in Suzhou, China.
Davis-Standard says the center will specialize in high-use maintenance items for customers throughout the region. The expansion is also aligned with the company’s Global Advantage initiative, which was developed to ensure premier customer service and facilitate increased productivity for customers.
The company says the parts center will stock a large inventory of maintenance items and will offer shipment within 24 hours for stock inventory, as well as local language support and acceptance of payments in Chinese currency.
