Greg LeClaire has taken on the new position as vice president of sales and development for Davey Bickford, which has moved its headquarters to Utah.

Davey Bickford USA, Inc. has appointed 28-year blasting industry veteran Greg LeClaire as vice president of sales and development for North America. In this position, LeClaire is responsible for increasing North American market penetration and continuous sales advancement for the Daveytronic Digital Blasting System and supporting Davey Bickford blasting initiation solutions.

LeClaire will lead a recently expanded field team of Sales and Business Development Managers, who offer customers local technical support and consultation services for the company’s Daveytronic Digital Blasting System. These managers blanket the Midwest and Western United States and Western Canada with their territories divided into five regions: Midwest, Wyoming, Arizona, Nevada and Western Canada.

“We have assembled an incredibly talented and experienced sales and technical consultation team to work with our customers,” LeClaire says.

LeClaire looks to expand distribution of the Daveytronic product line through a multichannel approach, where the customer’s specific needs will determine the best sales channel. “Davey Bickford is committed to increasing our ability to provide an unsurpassed level of sales and technical support, so we can help our customers optimize their blasting program’s performance,” LeClaire says.

An integral part of this new strategy was to move the company’s North American headquarters to Utah, which is a more centralized location that will allow Davey Bickford to better respond to customers needs, according to the company.

In June of 2008, the company’s Walnut Creek, Calif., office was closed. Davey Bickford began full time operation from its new Sandy, Utah, headquarters on July 1, 2008.
