DataShield, Omaha, Nebraska, has been named in the top half of the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies in America for 2017. Thousands of companies apply for the honor, which recognizes companies that have had at least a six-fold growth since 2013.
The company ranked 2,212 on the 2017 Inc. 5000, with growth of 165 percent and total revenue of $2.1 million.
DataShield, a National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) certified company, is a provider of secure document shredding, data destruction and electronics recycling services. With a service area that encompasses western Nebraska to central Iowa, DataShield found its beginnings in 2010 by serving primarily banking, medical and educational institutions. Today, the company serves thousands of clients across all business categories.
