Data Security Inc., Lincoln, Nebraska, celebrates 30 years of serving Americans with secure information disposal as of Dec. 3, 2015.
“Our vision is to provide efficient, yet effective, methods and equipment for the world’s growing electronic information disposal needs,” says Renee Schafer, director of Data Security Inc. “Our 30 years of experience has made us experts in the design and manufacture of degaussers as well as given us a full understanding of regulatory requirements and security guidelines.”
What started out as a one-man operation in a basement has grown into a successful multimillion-dollar company that remains family-owned to this day. Data Security Inc. invents, builds and retails a line of degaussers and hard drive destruction equipment.
Schafer says, “We will continue to keep your data safe as we lead our field through the next 30 years and beyond.”
