Community Waste Disposal, a large, privately owned waste management company, was awarded a recycling contract by the city of Burleson, Tex. The contract provides weekly residential curbside service in 18-gallon recycle bins. The program begins this coming January. The program includes a revenue sharing agreement with the city.
Greg Roemer, president of CWD said, "I am excited to see CWD expand its’ all-inclusive residential recycling collection to South Tarrant County. " The long time public drop off location will remain in operation. This, coupled with the one time per week collection schedule and proceeds being collected by the city, spells a win-win situation for everyone.
