CRT Processing Completes Acquisition

Wisconsin-based company acquires Environmental Light Recyclers of Fort Worth, Texas.

CRT Processing LLC, Janesville, Wis., has completed its acquisition of Environmental Light Recyclers (ELR) of Fort Worth, Texas. ELR is a processor and recycler of fluorescent lamps, batteries and electronic equipment servicing customers throughout the Southern United States, while CRT Processing is a full-service electronics recycling company.

“ELR is a terrific add-on acquisition for CRT Processing” Don Seiler, CEO of CRT Processing, says. “ELR has an impressive track record and is an outstanding fit for CRT from both a strategic and geographic perspective. We are particularly delighted that the ELR management team, led by founder Steve Remley, will be joining the CRT management team.”

ELR is the second acquisition closed since Hendricks Holding Co. acquired CRT in July of 2007. CRT previously acquired UniWaste Services LLC in Portsmouth, N.H., in November of 2007. Uniwaste Services provides electronics and fluorescent lamp recycling services to customers throughout New England. The company has been able to secure more than 90 percent of all electronics recycling under Maine’s manufacturer responsibility law, according to CRT Processing.

"By combining our strengths and wisely integrating our resources, we are positioned to provide even greater value to customers, expand our channels and pursue new opportunities for growth,” CRT President Jim Cornwell says of the recent acquisition.

CRT Processing, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hendricks Holding Co, operates facilities in Wisconsin, New Hampshire, Texas, Maine and Minnesota. More information is available at www.crtprocessing.com.
