The California Resource Recovery Association (CRRA) is preparing for the 2009 edition of its Annual Conference, which will take place Aug. 3-5 at the Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
In addition to programming and an exhibit hall, four tours have been planned in conjunction with the CRRA Annual Conference. This year, CRRA is breaking tradition by spreading tour times throughout the conference rather than holding all tours on Wednesday afternoon. Attendees have the option to select up to three of the four tours being offered:
- Living Desert Morning Tour and Hike, Mon., Aug. 3, 7 to 9:30 a.m.
- Food Waste: Cradle to Cradle Tour, Tues., Aug. 4, 6 to 10 a.m.
- Coachella Valley Leads the Way in LEED Certified Design, Weds., Aug. 5, 1:15 to 5:15 p.m.
- Lamb Canyon Landfill & Burrtec Waste Industries MRF Tour, Weds., Aug. 5, 1:15 to 5 p.m. (tour ends at Ontario Airport).
