CP Group, National City, Calif., has opened a sales and service office in Littleborough, England, United Kingdom. The office, which will operate under the name CP Manufacturing (Europe) Ltd. (CP Europe), is located 25 miles northeast of Manchester and 200 miles north of London.
“The United Kingdom and Western Europe are very sophisticated in terms of recycling, and having a sales and service office located in the U.K. will help us tap into that market,” says John Willis, vice president of the CP Group. “Additionally, we have already designed and installed several material recovery facilities in the area and this sales division will allow us to provide a higher level of service to our customers.”
In its news release announcing the new location, the company says the CP Europe office “is well situated to serve customers in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland as well as other Western European countries.”
In addition to CP Europe, the CP Group includes CP Manufacturing, Krause Manufacturing, MSS Inc., IPS Balers and Material Sales Inc. “We will be representing all of the companies in our sales efforts”, says Gary Price, general manager of CP Europe, “as well as handling service inquiries. Having this office located in the same time zone will enable our customers to experience quicker turn-around in both sales and service.”
In the United Kingdom, CP has installed facilities in Rainham, Norfolk, Merseyside, Glasgow and Tilbury along with a number of individual pieces of equipment at other recycling facilities. CP Manufacturing (Europe) Ltd. recently completed installation of a recycling facility, including its related civil works, in Dublin, Ireland.
