Converge Adds Offices in Europe and Middle East

Distributor of electronic components, technology products and supply chain services opens offices in Dusseldorf, Germany, and Herzlia, Israel.

Converge, a leading independent distributor of electronic components, technology products and supply chain services, has opened new offices in Dusseldorf, Germany, and Herzlia, Israel. According to Converge, the locations were strategically selected to further enhance the company’s presence in the European and Middle Eastern markets.

Prior to opening these offices, Converge operated four support centers and five logistics centers in Europe as well as an Amsterdam trading hub. The company also has a logistics center in Dubai. “These two new offices expand Converge's local customer support and quality assurance operations and will help it to more quickly meet the needs of German and Israeli manufacturers,” according to a press release from the company.

Both offices are tied into Converge's global infrastructure, giving Converge customers access to the most up-to-date pricing and availability information for products in the spot market.

"Our European and Middle Eastern presence is a strategic differentiator that has helped further accelerate our dramatic growth rate," Jesper Romell, general manager for EMEA at Converge, says. "These new offices will help us better leverage local employees to provide services and support to our European and Middle Eastern customers."

For more than 25 years, Converge has provided procurement, asset recovery, finished goods remarketing, global logistics and market intelligence services. The company has a global network of more than 6,500 trading partners in 139 countries.
