Petersburg, Virginia-based Container First Services (CFS), a subsidiary of Waste Services Industries LLC, has completed the acquisition of Mark Dunning Industries (MDI), a hauling company headquartered in Dothan, Alabama.
“Mark Dunning has built a business with a similar service mission to CFS: To help our customers grow their businesses profitably, while achieving affordable sustainability,” says Tim Webb, CFS COO. “We appreciate the strong foundation he has established for us to utilize for expansion.”
MDI, founded in 1980, provides waste and recycling services in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Virginia and New Mexico.

CFS provides industrial, commercial and residential waste and recycling services. The company owns and operates the Tri-Cities Regional Recycle Center and Landfill in Petersburg as well as CFS Disposal and Recycling Services, Lunenburg, Virginia; and CFS, Rice, Virginia.
