Chicago-based Container Essentials has announced the opening of its first distribution center, which is in Northern Indiana. According to the company, the new distribution center will allow Container Essentials to offer lower prices on its products and to launch a quick-ship program.
Container Essentials specializes in containers and accessories for commercial recycling, solid waste, document destruction and material handling.
“We are very excited to be opening this facility because it enables us to buy in larger volumes and pass the savings to our customers,” says Steve Phelps, president of Container Essentials. “We have the containers you need, or we’ll source them for you, and we are the only container distributor with our own distribution center. I think our customers will quickly see some big advantages.”
The new distribution center features 48-hour shipping on standard Container Essentials products, with a slightly longer time frame for special orders, according to the company. Customers may also opt to pick-up smaller-quantity orders direct from the distribution center.
Information on Container Essentials’ product line is available at www.containeressentials.com/products.html.
