Consolidated American Industries Corporation Adds to Resource Operations, Enters Rubber Business
Consolidated American Industries Corp. has formed Consolidated American Rubber Corp., which will target the shredding and processing of passenger and truck tires.
The new operation will be headquartered at Consolidated’s Utica, NY manufacturing facility. Finished products produced by the newly formed company will include sidewalks, pallets, mud flaps, and landscape mulch, arena footing and sports fill.
The company also announced that it has sold its wholly owned subsidiary, Century Container Corp., which specialized in corrugated, chipboard, and solid fiber containers.
