Conigliaro Industries, Framingham, Mass., reports that more than 150 customers, community members and industry leaders came to its first America Recycles Day open house on Nov. 15, 2004.
“We had such a great turn out—it was huge,” says Cynthia Conigliaro, public relations manager.
Company volunteers led the visitors—broken down into smaller groups—on tours of the 88,000-square-foot facility, Conigliaro says.
The highlight of the three-hour event was a demonstration of Conigliaro Industries’ mattress shredder. “That one was really popular,” she says.
