ConExpo-Con/Agg 2005 has announced that the show will include a U.S. Export Pavilion operated by the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) to assist attendees and exhibitors with international deals.
Pavilion services will be particularly geared to assisting smaller and medium-sized businesses with research into export markets, finding international buyers and partners, information on international trade regulation and compliance and shipping processes, according to the event’s organizers.
With eight pavilions representing seven different countries, ConExpo’s international representation at the 2005 show will be at an all-time high, according to organizers. The show will feature exhibitors from Finland, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, the United Kingdom and two booths from Chinese industry groups.
The DOC pavilion will be located just outside the show’s International Trade Center.
To promote international business, the organizers of ConExpo-Con/Agg have also announced the production of an “Export Opportunities Guide,” which will contain listings by company name and type of product or service offered by exhibitors that have indicated interest in expanding into the global marketplace.
The guide will be distributed to U.S. Commercial Service offices and American embassies prior to the show, which will take place March 15-19, 2005, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It will also be available onsite at the International Trade Center.
