Terrell, Texas-based metals recycler Conecsus LLC has announced it has partnered with two global solder manufacturers Amerway Inc. and Cobar Balver Zinn Solder Products to provide electronics manufacturers an option for recycling metals at the end of production.
Tom Mitchell, Conecsus North American business manager, says, “This new partnership allows Conecsus to approach new and existing customers offering new quality products with competitive pricing with Conecsus’ metals waste reclamation services. In all it’s truly a ‘cradle to grave’ solution for electronics manufacturers. As partners, we can offer these products and services as seamlessly as if we were one company. This relationship makes both companies stronger and more competitive in the marketplace.”
Amerway, based in Altoona, Pennsylvania, provides the electronics industry with a wide range of solder products. Conecsus says partnering with Amerway allows the company to offer customers “a cradle to grave soldering solution, from high-purity soldering alloys and products to waste recycling solutions for dross and other metals waste byproducts from the SMT/PCB assembly process.”

Amerway is a supplier of solder pastes, fluxes, bar, wire and custom alloy products to the electronics manufacturing industry. The company has been awarded ISO 9001 quality certification and now offers Cobar Balver Zinn products, including SN100C alloy in all its variations.

Conecsus is an ISO 14001 EMS certified recycling company and a refiner of SMT (surface-mount technology) solder/solder paste scraps and residues, as well as tin, lead, antimony, silver, gold and other metals from a variety of manufacturing industries. Conecsus says it converts these scraps into usable metal products, paying cash to the customer.
