Houston-based electronics recycling and information technology asset disposition (ITAD) company CompuCycle has attained R2v3 certification, the latest version of Sustainable Electronics Recycling International’s (SERI’s) R2 standard for electronics recycling.
CompuCycle now holds dual certification in R2v3 and e-Stewards, which it says solidifies its position as a provider of environmentally responsible and data-secure ITAD solutions.

The R2v3 certification ensures CompuCycle adheres to the highest standards in data destruction, asset remarketing and responsible recycling.

CompuCycle is woman-owned and has been involved in IT asset management for more than 25 years. The company handles refurbishment and destruction processes in-house. Services include refurbishing equipment for resale, secure physical data destruction via hard drive shredding and e-scrap plastics recycling. Its e-plastics recycling separates polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and polystyrene (PS) for domestic reuse.
