Groundbreaking on the 26,000 square foot building was held April 4, 2005. The cost of the construction was $2.4 million, and the company received assistance from the Fairfield County, Ohio Economic Development Office on the project.
The company, which hopes to reach sales of $50 million within the next five years, has grown significantly from its start in 1999 when it was focused as a truck, trailer and equipment shop in central Ohio.
The company added to its portfolio when it became a dealer of Stanley Hammer, LaBounty Attachments, Allied, Gehl, XL Specialty Trailers, Norris, and Beka-Max in 2001. While the company began as a parts and services company for the equipment, in 2002 the company became a full fledged distributor of the equipment, as well as providing parts and services.
Two years later the company became the country’s No. 1 La Bounty dealer.
Brad Hutchinson, co-owner of the company, says that one big advantage the company has is that it keeps a large supply of equipment on hand. This gives the company a quicker turnaround when a customer is seeking equipment, whether it is a purchase, rental or lease.
While located in central Ohio, the company sells equipment throughout the country.
