ShredJunkMail.com, a division of DataGuard USA, was formed to target the shredding of third class mail. The program itself can be operated easily with an Internet connection.
To use the service a customer first collects all the paper, statements and mail that needs to be shredded and place it in a corrugated box. The person then can log onto www.shredjunkmail.com, print a shredding label and affix it to the box. FedEx picks up the box and delivers it to an AAA-certified shredding operation where it is destroyed. The customer then receives a certificate of destruction when the project is complete.
The cost of the service is less than $20
