Companies Create Arrangement to Provide Salvage Service to Cable TV Industry

GCI, Fox Electronics announce agreement to provide asset disposal services to cable television industry.

GCI, a full-service broker to the cable television industry, and Fox Electronics, a processor of used integrated circuits, reached a definitive agreement to provide end-of-life management services to the cable television industry.

 

"Our customers need to be assured that their obsolete inventory is being disposed of in a way that is not only economical, but environmentally safe and accomplished according to the letter of the law," said Michael Bradshaw, president of GCI. "By partnering with Fox Electronics, GCI can provide an unmatched level of service and value to our customers."

 

Under the agreement, GCI will market Fox's expertise in disposal and destruction of outdated equipment to the cable television industry.

Fox Electronics was founded in 1984 for the sole purpose of recycling integrated circuits from printed circuit boards. With over 100 employees, the operation occupies a 65,000 square-foot, 5-acre facility in the heart of California's Silicon Valley. The company covers the full gamut of product recycling, remarketing, destruction and testing as related to the high-tech manufacturing industry.
