Combilift has unveiled two new material handler models designed to improve productivity or energy efficiency for recyclers and other users of industrial forklifts and loaders.

The new Combi-FSE 8000 model is a heavy-duty electric sideloader with long reach capabilities. The latest addition to Combilift’s four-wheel electric sideloader product line offers an 8-metric-ton lift capacity.

Combilift, based in Ireland, says the new model offers “powerful, emission-free” operation powered by 18-kilowatt motors designed to provide the torque and responsiveness required for heavy loads.

The company says the FSE 8000’s use of patented traction and steering technology means the model offers year-round reliability in muddy or uneven yard conditions. Combilift also says the battery changing process for the model is quick and ideal for multishift operations.

On the safety front, Combilift says the FSE 8000 offers “unrivalled” operator visibility, providing operators with a clear line of sight, including when reversing.

Combilift says its new Combi Load Xtender offers a “game-changing" one-side loading for its users, including at facilities where space is tight or trailer access is limited.

The new model’s ultra-low mechanism height and compact design offer what Combilift calls full functionality below standard trailer heights, without interference.

The two new models were introduced at the Ligna 2025 timber industry trade fair in Germany and are now available for order, according to Combilift.
