Columbus McKinnon Corp. announced the sale of a new CM Portable Tire Shredding System to Rumpke Recycling of Ohio, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Rumpke decided on the Columbus McKinnon shredding equipment for the system’s ability to open up new markets for the finished product. Additionally, the shredder provides consistently sized clean cut chips with little to no wire protrusion.
The system will be used to process steel belted passenger and truck tires for Civil Engineering chips specifically designed for use in landfill construction and to open markets for Tire Derived Fuel. Low operating costs and customer support were additional factors that influenced Rumpke’s decision to chose Columbus McKinnon Corp.Latest from Recycling Today
