Columbus McKinnon Corp., Amherst, N.Y., a designer, manufacturer and marketer of material handling products, has introduced the CM Bandit ratchet lever hoist, the company’s lightest, most compact three-fourths and 1.5 ton ratchet lever hoist.
The CM Bandit is now available in Canada, with the product expected to be introduced in the United States this October. Columbus McKinnon says that the CM Bandit is the world’s first HMI-certified ratchet lever hoist.
The CM Bandit has a range of features that make the unit durable and simple to use. The company says its compact design and short handle makes it ideal for use in confined spaces. Its portability, easy free chaining, and 360 degree rotating handle makes it one of the most versatile hoists on the market. The hoist’s upper and lower hooks swivel and are bolted on for easy inspection and removal, and both feature wide throat openings for quick load attachment.
