Columbus McKinnon Corporation, an Amherst, N.Y.-based designer and manufacturer of material handling products, has announced a new marketing and sales approach to consolidate their hoist and rigging products and brands into one sales force. Brands affected by the decision include CM, Yale, Chester, Coffing, Budgit and Little Mule.
The product brands will continue to serve North American companies, however, each channel sales manager will now have access to the complete portfolio of products, regardless of brand. In addition to the broader portfolio, channel sales managers will also receive support to assist in their sales and training efforts from area sales manager with expertise in specific lines of products.
“One of the many strengths of Columbus McKinnon is the wide range of products and services that we offer to help our customers lift, position or secure materials,” says Gene Buer, vice president of Hoist Products, The Americas. “By permitting our channel sales managers to have access to this extensive range without regard to brand allows the sales managers tremendous flexibility as they develop material handling solutions in the market.”
