Colortronic Introduces New Granulator Series

Colortronic, a Flint, Mich.-based equipment manufacturer, has introduced its thermoforming MT1200 series of granulators. The company says a castered base makes the MT1200 series suitable for applications under the press or in front of the press.

According to the company, features of the new line of granulators include:

·         8-inch pneumatic upper hopper allowing easy access to the rotor and bed knives

·         Three-blade open rotor with Twinshear cutting geometry for quieter, cooler operation

·         Three throat sizes to choose from: 12x44, 12x56 and 12x74

·         Throughput capacities of 1,800 to 3,000 pounds per hour.

·         Pivoting screen cradle

·         12-inch cutting circle
