The city of Pueblo, Co., is soliciting competitive proposals to determine the cost to provide professional services for both collecting and processing recyclable materials to residences within the city.
The city intends to establish a comprehensive residential recycling program, including curbside collection, transportation, processing and marketing of recyclable materials and products from residences within the city of Pueblo.
The city has an estimated population of 106,000 within about 45 square miles. The city estimates that there are about 39,500 single-family residences and multifamily residences of not more than eight units in the city.
