CMRA Prepares for November Event

The China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association’s Recycling Metal Branch (CMRA) has announced several of the topics that will be addressed at its 2013 Annual Convention.

The 2013 event will be take place on Nov. 6-9 in Chongqing, China. The CMRA is currently accepting registrations for the conference and is offering a discounted “early bird” rate to attendees who register before Aug. 30.

The CMRA says its Annual Convention “is designed to bring suppliers, purchasers, consumers, manufacturers and experts together to create an active dialogue and generate trading and processing opportunities.”

The group says its programming has been designed in part to address the “enormous challenges” facing the nonferrous metals market, including presentations focusing on:
•    Operation Green Fence;
•    the “modern Silk Road” potential of the Yuxinou (Chongqing-Xinjiang-Europe) international railway line;
•    challenges and opportunities in the current market; and
•    nonferrous metals price and market forecasts .
