Michael D. Ray has been named director the Southern California Chapter of the Construction Materials Recycling Association (CMRA).
Ray’s responsibilities include:
• Maintaining and developing a list of potential attendees to chaptermeetings, which would double as list of potential members;
• Work to grow membership base of CMRA;
• Form and maintain a group of local recycling members who would function as a local board of directors;
• Work with this group to develop a chapter meeting three times per year, including program development and meeting logistics; and
• Discover and work to solve local industry problems.
“We are delighted that Michael has decided to take over the reins of our Southern California Chapter,” says Rick Givan, CMRA’s current president and president of Recycled Materials, Arvada, Colo. “He brings a lot of experience into the position.”
