Commercial Metals Co. announced the acquisition of two rebar fabrication companies. The first, D&G Enterprises, is located in Helotex, Tex. The company will continue to operate under the name D&G Enterprises. It will operate as part of the CMC Steel Group. The company supplies fabricated reinforced steel to the Central Texas market.
The company also announced that it acquired all the operating assets of E.L. Willis, a rebar company in Fresno, Calif. This facility will be owned by CMC Steel Fabricators, Inc. and operate under the name of E.L. Wills as part of the CMC Steel Group.
E.L. Wills has been in the steel industry since 1983 as a reinforcing steel subcontractor specializing in commercial and industrial construction throughout the states of California and Nevada.
