Commercial Metals Co. announced the acquisition of substantially all of the operating assets of Cherokee Supply, a company that specializes in highway and commercial construction-related products.
The two stores will become part of CMC Construction Services and will operate under the name of CMC Cherokee.
Headquartered in Houston, Texas, CMC Construction Services is part of CMC's Domestic Fabrication segment and has 46 locations in 10 southern U.S. states offering a variety of products and services including rebar fabrication, engineering services for tilt-up, forming and shoring, rentals and an extensive line of concrete-related construction materials.
