CLM Pallet Recycling, headquartered in Indianapolis, has applied to the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) for permission to install a horizontal grinder at its Fortville, Ind., facility.
In commenting on the application, the IDEM notes that the company intends to operate equipment that will emit air pollutants; therefore the permit contains new or different permit conditions.
IDEM has reviewed this application and has developed preliminary findings, consisting of a draft permit and several supporting documents that would allow the applicant to make the change.
In accepting the application, the IDEM acknowledges that CLM has been constructed and operated prior to receipt of the proper permit.
