CLM Equipment Purchases High-Reach Excavator

CLM Equipment Co. Inc., with locations in Lafayette, La., Sulphur, La., Baytown, Texas, and Houston, has announced the purchase of a Kobelco SK485 with a Jewell Attachments (Portland, Ore.) High Reach Demolition conversion.

This specialized excavator, which will be available for rental and/or sale across North America by November, is configured to carry an 800-pound tool at a maximum pin height of 90 feet. The machine will feature extreme-duty front and overhead cab protection, a 35-degree tilt-back cab for increased visibility, high flow dust suppression system, a remote camera and touch screen computer controls for all demolition functions.
