Clearwater Paper Corp., headquartered in Spokane, Wash., has named Linda Massman president and chief operating officer, effective Nov. 1, 2011. She will report to Gordon Jones, Clearwater’s chairman and CEO.
Massman will be responsible for leading the company’s business operations, including manufacturing, sales and marketing, environmental, safety, transportation and logistics. She has served the company as chief financial officer since the company was spun off from Potlatch Corp. in late 2008.
Jones says, “As part of her new role, Ms. Massman will oversee the completion of the integration of Cellu Tissue operations as well as the continued startup of the new Shelby (Tennessee) facility. Her significant experience will help lead the company in accomplishing our strategic goals of growing our consumer tissue business and optimizing pulp and paperboard.”
Clearwater Paper manufactures a range of tissue products, as well as paperboard, pulp and wood products. The company has 15 manufacturing locations in the United States and Canada.
