CleanRiver Recycling Solutions, a division of Midpoint International, Inc., based in Aurora, Ontario, Canada, has introduced waste and recycling stations that the company says make it easy to implement recycling programs and adjust to future changes. Transition TRH Series Configurable Recycling and Waste Stations use stream-specific, interchangeable opening plates and moveable internal dividers to accept multiple types of recyclables in a single unit that is easily configured – and reconfigured – to meet current and future waste stream requirements.
“Twenty years of working with our customers to fine-tune their recycling programs has been engineered into this unique and forward-thinking recycling station to offer unprecedented flexibility in a compact footprint,” says CleanRiver President Dave Jarrett.
The company says that transition TRH Series stations represent a breakthrough in container design. For example, the unit may first go into service as a single-stream trash receptacle, but as recycling programs are implemented, the single trash opening is replaced by patent-pending opening plates that fit into the existing container frame. Plates are available in more than a dozen configurations. Moveable internal dividers allow containers to accommodate from one to four separate waste streams.
"This added flexibility lets you customize your recycling station based on current needs and reconfigure it in the future as your needs change," says Jarrett. "The Transition container provides greater assurance that you won’t outgrow your waste management equipment and assures a higher ROI (return on investment) on your purchase."
Transition TRH Series Configurable Recycling and Waste Stations make efficient use of floor space, according to the company. The 51-gallon container occupies a 24-inch-by-24-inch footprint and is 36 inches high. There are 22- and 36-gallon units, which occupy less space. These containers are available in a range of colors, including raven black, warm cedar, marine blue, adobe clay, earth brown, storm gray, forest green, cherry wood, midnight blue, weathered wood and dove gray. The addition of full-color CleanSort graphic backboard signage makes Transition TRH Series recycling stations ideal for boardrooms, meeting rooms, lobbies and other upscale environments, the company says.
