City Carton Promotes Lehrman

Iowa City employee promoted to facility manager position.

Royce Lehrman has been promoted to facility manager at the Iowa City location of City Carton Recycling.

 

Lehrman oversees all operations of the Iowa City recycling facility and is responsible for implementing the products and services marketing plan for the plant, with goals to maximize customer service, vendor relations, sales and profits. He is also responsible for plant building needs, equipment needs, and personnel.

 

Lehrman has more than 12 years experience in management and supervision. He joined City Carton Recycling in January 2006. He is also co-owner and president of Melmar Farms Corp., a family-owned business that farms 360 acres.

 

City Carton Recycling, based in Iowa City, was founded in 1967. The company provides recycling programs for cardboard, office paper, plastic, tin, aluminum, newspaper, magazines, books, outdated forms and materials for thousands of municipal, commercial and industrial customers throughout Iowa and the Midwest and also operates Document Destruction and Recycling Services, a full-service confidential materials shredding company.
