City Carton Recycling, Iowa City, Iowa, has promoted Jennifer Humphrey to human resource director. Humphrey began her career with City Carton Recycling in March 2007 as a human resource assistant and was promoted to human resource generalist in December of 2008.
Humphrey develops, implements and coordinates policies and programs covering the company’s employment administration, wage and salary administration, training, safety and health benefits, employee communication and services, according to a City Carton news release.
She also supervises orientation of new employees, oversees personnel records and addresses proper governmental compliance functions. Humphrey also provides data and recommendations to City Carton senior managers and integrates human resource functions into the company’s operations.
City Carton Recycling bills itself as Iowa’s largest full-service paper recycling company and one of the largest full-service recycling companies in the Midwest.
