China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in early August released what it calls its sixth batch of companies approved to take part in the ferrous scrap recycling sector.
The MIIT says the 73 companies listed (in Chinese) are “enterprises that meet the conditions for entry into the scrap steel processing industry.”
The agency says the list represents the “sixth batch” of companies that have been reviewed by provincial-level authorities and have passed an on-site inspection.
