The Beijing-based China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association Recycling Metal Branch (CMRA) has released what it calls the second batch of nonferrous scrap trading companies on a list of “foreign suppliers and domestic consignees” it is now maintaining.
In the second batch, announced in late February, 26 overseas companies have completed the process to be listed as foreign suppliers and 44 China-based firms are now listed as domestic consignees.
Among the overseas companies in the second batch are United States-based OmniSource LLC, Calbag Metals and AMI Trading (USA) Inc. In Europe, companies that have joined the CMRA roster include Ecore Luxembourg SA and Metallum Metal Trading. Also on the list is Poland-based Tesla Recycling Spolka. Several Japanese trading and recycling firms also are on the second batch list.
The list of both exporting and importing firms can be found on this web page.
