The Shredder Co. (TSC),
According to a press release from TSC, the equipment will be delivered and installed in the spring of 2007. The installation is expected to increase the hourly production of the 6,000-hp shredding plant, lower the KWH per ton required to process material and save money on replacement castings parts.
Scott Newell, president of TSC, says, “My son Scott Newell III and I are very proud of our long relationship with Chaparral Steel, which has existed since we supplied the first Newell shredder to this plant more than 15 years ago.”
