C.H. Coakley & Co. (Coakley), an independent storage firm headquartered in Milwaukee, has announced that it has been deemed fully compliant with the National Records Centers’ (NRC) guidelines for independent record storage, document imaging and shredding services companies.
The standards program, facilitated by the NRC, occurs every five years and examined each aspect of Coakley’s records storage, document imaging and shredding service operation.
“This is a very comprehensive process, one which we take very seriously,” says Michael Coakley, president of C.H. Coakley. “There are hundreds of standards that must be met, documentation that needs to be presented and an extensive inspection of the facilities that must be passed. While we are not surprised that we are 100 percent compliant, we are very proud to be able to say that we are.”
“The NRC strives to make everyone in this business remain up to par, and if you’re not, changes need to be made,” says Ezekiel Gipson, sales and customer service manager of Coakley’s Archives & Information Management Division. “Passing this standards program is a testament to our clients that we strive to service their business needs in the most professional, proficient way possible.”
The NRC is a national alliance of more than 90 affiliates and agents that work to provide records management services to clients throughout North America.
Coakley has eight divisions: off-site record retention and retrieval, commercial moving, warehouse, logistics, secure data services, micro-graphics, printing and portable storage.
