Centrol Recycling Group, based in the United Kingdom, has signed a deal with a government organization to encourage small and medium businesses to recycle their card, paper, plastic and some WEEE waste at its new facility.
“It is an exciting project because it is the first of its kind in the UK. If the six-month pilot proves successful we aim to roll out more centers nationwide,” says Gregg Waldron, who will oversee Centrol’s operations.
WRAP, which helps companies reap the benefits of reducing waste, is launching the scheme with Centrol as its partner. Other organizations involved in the project include Gordon Mackie Associates and Envirolink Northwest.
