CFF, a manufacturer and distributor of cellulose fibers, is undergoing a change of ownership and reorganization. Additionally, the company will begin making alpha cellulose fiber products at its Maryland headquarters facility.
CFF's new owners include two American residents and a resident of Italy, who acquired the business from the prior German ownership in a stock purchase.
The business will continue to be known as CFF; the new formal name is CreaFill Fibers Corp., replacing the name Cellulose Filler Factory Corp. No association remains with Cellulose-Fullstoff-Fabrik GmbH & Co. KG, the German company that Cellulose Filler Factory Corp. had been affiliated.
Under its new ownership, CFF will expand its product lines and production capacity. By this summer, CFF plans to begin producing alpha cellulose products that were previously imported from Europe for distribution in North America. The company will also continue its manufacturing of recycled cellulose products. All manufacturing will be performed at CFF's production facility in Chestertown, Md., which is being expanded to add alpha cellulose production lines.
