IFS announced that CellMark, Inc., will implement IFS Applications business software to support its recycling and packaging divisions in Corte Madera, Calif. The company initially will use IFS' distribution and financial applications at the California facility and plans to roll out IFS software to its five other U.S. processing facilities next year. CellMark AB, the parent company of CellMark, Inc., has been using IFS Applications at its facility in Goteborg, Sweden, for the past few years.
"Our immediate objective in selecting IFS was to replace the homegrown legacy system at the Corte Madera facility with an integrated, state-of-the-art software package," said Mitra Farr, vice president of Finance and Operations for CellMark, Inc. "But this is just the first step. Our plan is to roll out IFS Applications to all CellMark sites worldwide. With IFS as our global solution, the cost savings will be tremendous."
