C&D Scrap Metal Recyclers to open second Houston location

Company’s 8-acre northwest Houston site is scheduled to open in early fall 2015.

C&D Scrap Metal Recyclers, a scrap metal dealer based in Houston, has announced its expansion with a second scrap recycling location slated to open in early fall 2015 in northwest Houston.

Owner and CEO Dennis Laviage and Vice President Cynthia Laviage say they have specialized in sales and service of scrap metal in the greater Houston area since 1979. The company has grown and as a result acquired an 8-acre location in northwest Houston to provide more customers with ferrous and nonferrous services.

C&D Scrap Metal says the expansion will make the company’s impact even larger with its ability to separate aluminum, copper, stainless steel, iron and other scrap metal materials that can be reused.

“We are thrilled to expand our business with a second C&D location,” Laviage says. “We need more space, and there has been quite a demand in this highly commercial area, so opening a second location will provide a convenient solution for customers in the northwest part of Houston.”

C&D Scrap Metal Recyclers handles, processes and ships more than 3 million pounds of nonferrous and ferrous scrap metal each month, including copper, brass, aluminum, steel, insulated wire, radiators, nickel, stainless steel, alloys, iron, lead and exotic metals.
