CCR operates the system in Austria for the European Recycling Platform. The European Recycling Platform has a pan-European structure and is currently taking over the take-back obligation for 33 manufacturers from the electrical and electronic industry in Austria. As the operator of the scheme in Austria CCR has been able to secure a market share of approximately 28 percent and hence to reach its goal within a very short period of time: CCR takes back almost one third of the total waste electrical equipment in Austria on behalf of ERP and passes it on for reutilization and/or recycling. CCR has built up a network of service providers in the fields of logistics and recycling. Within the framework of regular calls for tender appropriate service providers are commissioned with the recycling and reutilization of the waste electrical and electronic equipment. A proprietary quality management system developed by CCR ensures compliance with the legal framework conditions.
CCR specializes in the management of take-back systems. As an international business process outsourcing partner for industry and trade, CCR develops take-back systems with comprehensive logistics processes and IT-supported reporting and clearing.
