CBI Holding International Holding Scrap Metal Network Meeting in July

Goal of the program is to boost ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal exports and imports with China.

CBI will be hosting a conference that targets the metals recycling industry, as well as the trading of the metals with China, on July 1-2. The conference is being called "Boost Ferrous and Non-ferrous Scrap Metal Exports and Imports around the World."

Sponsors of the event say the two-day program will address the following issues:

-- What purchasing strategies will be utilized by giant producers?

-- How will Europe's advanced sustainable and environmental protection methodologies be echoed in emerging economies like China and India?

-- What can be learned from burgeoning recycling markets of the Middle East and other Asian countries?

-- What challenges and opportunities are here in recycling electronics scrap?

-- What solutions will there be for financing selection and pricing risk control?

-- What are the highlights of China's environmental protection law and scrap metal import regulations?

Along with the People's Government of Qingyuan, Guangdong province and the Shanghai Metals Market, the 2010 International Scrap Metal Network is set to create a platform for global metal scrap suppliers and purchasers, with the attendance of the most authoritative experts to provide in-depth analysis of supply and demand in the import & export markets in China and abroad.
