Caterpillar Inc. has acquired CoreMedia, a safety culture consulting company, as of February 7, 2011. The CoreMedia services and team will now be a part of Caterpillar Safety Services. Caterpillar says gaining the services and expertise of CoreMedia allows the Caterpillar Safety Services division to offer a richer level of safety solutions to customers.
Caterpillar offers safety resources on safety.cat.com, online training courses and jobsite safety consulting, or safety program assessment and development. “Now, with our new services, our experienced consultants will help you create a sustainable safety culture where zero-incident performance is a visible commitment throughout all levels of the organization,” the company states in a press announcement.
